This article provides the best description of the
SAMI2 model. However, the E x B transport scheme
used in the open source version of SAMI2 is based
on a nonothogonal Eulerian grid which is not
described in this article. The original version of
SAMI2, described in this paper, used a Lagrangian mesh
for cross-field transport.
